This week, we celebrate the remarkable Thandiwe Connie Mazibuko-Tshabalala, affectionately known as Teecee. Born and raised in Johannesburg, with roots in KwaZulu-Natal and Rustenburg, Teecee is a beacon of talent and beauty. A Diverse Career Path

With seven years of experience in the corporate world, Teecee has honed her skills in Accounts, Administration, and Sales. Her corporate journey took a turn in 2019, a year after she was diagnosed with mental health issues. Since then, she has channeled her expertise into supporting small businesses and start-ups, making a significant impact in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Entrepreneurial Ventures

Teecee founded Prime Cut Creatives, a venture through which she collaborates with local businesses and brands. Notable collaborations include Black Strawberry Active wear and African Indigenous Snacks. Her work extends to organizing events and experiences with influential community members such as Chef Nonhlanhla Moroenyane, Puseletso Modimogale, and Sizakele Phohleli.

Current Roles and Projects

Currently, Teecee serves as the brand manager for African Indigenous Snacks and a creative consultant for marketing and branding the book “Murmurs of a Yearning Heart” by Qoleleni Mushwana. She also hosts the Sacred Sunday Sessions, curated wellness events that promote mental well-being. Additionally, she is preparing for upcoming virtual and in-person Poetry Book Club Sessions, aimed at fostering mental health through poetry.

A passionate social activist, Teecee is dedicated to empowering women and youth. She believes in nurturing great minds for the future and is actively involved in mentorship programs, educational scholarships, and community development projects.
